Hyperuranion — the supracelestial region. The virtue of wings is to lift what is heavy and carry it upwards to the sphere inhabited by the gods. And for this reason, more than any other corporeal thing, they take part in the divine. Every soul is immortal, because it moves perpetually. The one that moves the other and is moved by the other, if it ceases to move, it ceases to live. Light streams through the heliosphere, an immense magnetic field, shaped like a comet, surrounding the Solar System. The hands reflect the movements of pneuma: they seek, they feel, they dance, they speak. The hands — parts of the body — become individual bodies themselves. Hands bell-towers: ten small bells, one for each finger. The hands speak, the hands are bodies, the hands see as eyes would. Perpetual movement. Memory (of what?), recollections, sounds, unknown signs. The image, seen in a vision, becomes matter.
