hand-made paper sculpture
2025
Writing every day for a year with the promise of never reading it again. All these pages, after all, are only a mixture of bleached cellulose, glue, and ink that, sooner or later, will be inevitably transformed by external circumstances. It seems that it doesn’t really matter what is written anyway, as it cannot be read. Turning the pages, each containing the time and space of a specific day, into sculptural objects, melting the words and their meaning into the water, amalgamating the tangible and intangible into one matter, reflects the ambiguity of time and its shape-shifting nature. Ephemeral yet eternal, like strange fossils, some words weigh heavy on our shoulders, while others, instead, are lighter than feathers.
